Faculty Members and Teaching Assistants

The Human Resources Department at the University of Science and Technology (UST) announces the opening of applications for a number of academic positions across the University’s Faculties , in accordance with the following qualifications and requirements.

First: Available Positions

1. Associate Professor

– A Bachelor’s degree in the relevant specialization from the University of Science and Technology or any other recognized university, with a minimum grade of Very Good.
– A Master’s degree in the relevant specialization from the University of Science and Technology or any other recognized university.
– A PhD in the relevant specialization from the University of Science and Technology or any other recognized university.
– Promotion to the rank of Associate Professor in accordance with the faculty promotion regulations of a recognized university.
– Fulfillment of the general requirements.

2. Assistant Professor

3. Teaching Assistant

– A Bachelor’s degree in the relevant specialization from the University of Science and Technology or any other recognized university, with a minimum grade of Very Good.

Second: Faculties and Specializations

Applications are invited for positions in the following Faculties:

– Faculty of Medicine
– Faculty of Dentistry
– Faculty of Pharmacy
– Faculty of Computer Science
– Faculty of Administrative Sciences
– Faculty of Engineering
– Faculty of Medical Laboratories
– Faculty of Nursing

Third: General Requirements

– Applicants must be Sudanese nationals.
– A record of scientific publications and research is required for applicants to the positions of Associate Professor and Assistant Professor.
– Demonstrated academic and professional experience in teaching and managing university activities is required for applicants to the positions of Associate Professor and Assistant Professor.
– Proficiency in computer applications and technical systems.
– Fluency in English.
