UST reveals a quantum leap in the field of medicine and surgery

UST revealed a quantum leap in the field of medicine and general surgery as well as implementing all set plans to assist in the transition to UST3 as per directives of the university’s president Dr. Al Moataz Al Birair of launching digital projects, emailing and digital portal services, digitalization of adminstrative transactions and easying communication between the university and students.

Engineer Ahmed Al-Hakim, Director of Information Center at UST, said that the project of transferring surgical operations between students of the College of Medicine and General Surgery at UST and Royal Care Hospital has been implemented, and the technical and medical requirements have been completed and it will soon come to light, in addition to announcement of the integrated academic system.

Engineer Ahmed Al-Hakim described the achievement as great, pointing to the completion of programs related to banking applications as to facilitate electronic payment operations for students through applications such as (Fawry, bankak, Real Estate Bank, and Saudi Bank), indicating great efforts of those behind these programs, namely, Engineers Muhammad Ragab and Abdul Rahman Ibrahim. As for graduate and Bachelor’s sholarships, Hakim said, application for these scholarships was done electronically, thanks to Engineer Muzaffar Ghazi for completing the application process and sorting out scholarships results in a transparent and impartial manner.
