An agreement between UST and Karary locality surveying industrial zone in Omdurman

UST and Karary locality agreed to implement a number of projects through the survey camp for civil engineering students. The locality suggested starting the survey camp in Omdurman industrial zone, Al-Rawda neighborhood, luxury housing, Al-Hara 76 housing, as well as surveying both Nile and Al-Sisi streets as projects in need for planning and surveying.

Head of Civil Engineering Department at the University of Science and Technology, Dr. Akram Abbas, agreed during a meeting in his office, with engineer Sana Sheikh El-Din, planning director of Karary locality and engineer Muhammad Mirghani Al-Amin, project manager in the locality, agreed on proposals submitted and indicated that the camp for this year, unusually, will apply the directives of College of Engineering leadership in activating the role of community partnership according to the vision of the university president, Dr. Al-Moataz Muhammad Ahmed Al-Birair which aims to serve the Sudanese society.  Akram said that their department’s camp will implement the locality’s proposals which are represented in the detailed project, the contour project in the industrial zone in Omdurman, the road project in the luxury housing area, the canal project (Al Hara Al Awla canal), and the other given projects, describing the meeting as fruitful.
