Director of Administrative Affairs at the University of Science and Technology UST, Eng. Hossam El-Din Mohamed Hassan, revealed that his department is working as per directives of UST senior management to implement its development plans academically and administratively under supervision of Vice President for Financial and Administrative Affairs. Husam El-Din confirmed completion of the research center for College of Medical Laboratories and the Renewable Energy center in addition to making some modifications to the morgue of the College of Medicine to the latest level in Sudan.
Engineer in charge, Ahmed Abdel Aziz, added that they have established an estimated number of classrooms and offices for medical and dental faculties, language center, and the entrepreneurship center at Faculty of Administrative Sciences. He added they are working on admission building that to be provided with latest equipment as all student admission related transactions will be carried out in the same building, adding that they have also finished building the asphalt plant for civil engineering students, and work is underway to expand and rehabilitate the electricity network. It is to be noted that UST engineering department is currently working on adding aesthetic touches to the three university campuses after completion of these facilities.
