A memorandum of understanding between UST and the University of Medical Sciences in Libya

A memorandum of understanding has been signed between the University of Science and Technology UST and the Libyan University of Medical Sciences in Benghazi, Libya, in preparation for joint cooperation between the two universities in the field of postgraduate studies. Professor Abdul Raouf Al-Otaibi, Vice President of the UST, signed for the University of Science and Technology, while Professor Al-Senussi Muhammad Taher, Dean of the College of Dentistry, signed for the Libyan University.

Professor Al-Senussi described the memorandum came as to implement what was agreed upon between the two universities last October in Tripoli, the Libyan capital, and revealed that a group of Libyan students will soon be enrolled in the postgraduate program at the UST, indicating that efforts are being made to develop and strengthen cooperation through various projects.

It is to be noted that president of UST, Dr. Al-Moataz Mohammad Ahmed Al-Birair, and his Vice President for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Dr. Eng. Sarah Muhammad Al-Makawi, had invited University of Medical Sciences to visit the country. For his part, Vice President of UST, Professor Abdul Raouf Al-Otaibi, expressed his happiness for the visit, describing it as culmination of joint work between the two universities. He revealed that the memorandum was preceded by an exchange of ideas and proposals, stressing the keenness of the two sides to implement various projects in the fields of scientific research, training and postgraduate studies. President of the University, Dr. Al-Moataz Al-Barir, and his Vice President for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Dr. Eng. Sarah Muhammad Al-Makawi, honored the signing ceremonies.
