Head of Medical Engineering Department at the University of Science and Technology, Dr. Elias Siddig Muhammad, revealed the start of discussing graduation projects for students of 2017 batch, with a total of (62) projects under the supervision of the department faculty. He described projects submitted by the batch as distinguished for covering all developmental aspects in the biomedical engineering sector in Sudan. He also said that the most prominent projects that have been approved are the projects of designing programs for managing and maintaining medical devices, a cholesterol measuring device, a radiotherapy device scheme, and a reference hospital design, pointing out the focus of the department leadership during the past and current year on computerization, diagnosis, treatment, and keeping pace with developments in the medical fields considering that technology has become a cornerstone in the field of health care in the country.
