Omdurman: Mona Abdullah
Students of Administrative Sciences College at UST organized a community initiative campaign in the Omdurman region under the slogan (to make their winter warmer), which includes distribution of (30) blankets and various winter clothes for women. Dr. Ehlam, in charge of students affairs office said the initiative aims to support others, especially disadvantaged families, and motivating students to volunteer and donate what is surplus as to reach a caring and interdependent society that contributes to strengthening social relations in all its forms whether monetary or moral, noting that college students are like one team in their cooperation and mutual support in speeding up charitable work.
The initiative campaign, in which a number of students took part, began with distribution of a number of blankets and clothes inside the neighborhoods around the university buildings, as this initiative is the fourth of its kind. Dr. Ehlam promised more humanitarian initiatives in the coming days.
